QR Code Aesthetics: How to Make Your QR Code Look Good (Not Ugly)

QR Code Aesthetics: How to Make Your QR Code Look Good (Not Ugly)

QR codes are essential backups for digital cards, but let's be honest: a giant, pixelated black square can ruin a beautiful design. At TapMo, we believe function shouldn't kill fashion. Here is how to make QR codes look premium.

1. Inverted Colors (The "Ghost" Code)

Instead of a black block on a white background, we often use Inverted QR Codes on our black cards. The code is white/silver, and the background is black. It looks sleeker, more subtle, and scans just as perfectly.

2. Placement Matters

Don't slap the QR code right next to your logo.

  • The "Backstage" Approach: Keep the front of the card purely for branding (Logo only). Put the QR code on the back. It’s there when you need it, but hidden when you don't.

3. Size: Small but Mighty

You don't need a giant QR code. Modern phone cameras are incredibly sharp. A QR code as small as 2cm x 2cm works perfectly. Keep it discrete.

A QR code is a safety net, not the main attraction. Design it wisely, and it will blend right into your premium aesthetic.
